Tornadoes

Tornadoes are the blue ribbon prize of every storm chasers hunt. They are one of mother natures most beautiful and deadly creations. To see one in person is awe-inspiring and while most are terrified of them, storm chasers yearn for more. Stove pipes, elephant trucks, wedges, ropes and cones. No two tornadoes are alike. We may never understand why one storm produces a tornado and one does not...but I for one will continue to hunt them as long as I am able.

Storm Structure

Tornadoes are hard to come by and often times not the main attraction on a storm chase. Storm structure is one of the most amazing spectacles of mother nature. From the very start as a small cumulus cloud to the massive anvil of a super cell. No two storms are alike and each one brings a unique photography opportunity. Deserted

Abandoned and left to weather the elements. Church's, schools, homes and business litter the great plains waiting for someone to come and bring them back to life. Many of these structures will never be used again. If we could only hear the stories that they could tell.

Lightning

Few things compare to the energy released from a massive lightning bolt. One of the most difficult things to capture correctly as a photographer lightning is both beautiful and deadly.
