Follow Charles Large wedge tornado that tore through northern Illinois on 4/9/15! This was an amazing sight! This was a very violent tornado as well. Probably the most violent I have ever documented, and certainly the largest! What an amazing, amazing chase day. My first chase day of 2015!!!

I would like to change my seat to a window seat on the right side of the plane for this evenings flight, hoping that’s possible” Somewhere between Washington D.C. and Michigan last evening around 7:30pm, a supercell as viewed from a storm chasers lens while travelling west at 35,000 feet in the air.

Follow Paul My post for today: The Stovepipe phase of the Now EF4 rated long track tornado. This shot was taken from between Franklin Grove and Ashton, Illinois, looking to the North-Northeast, with the tornado actually located just north of Ashton at this point.
