Follow Jane We were astonished at the variation in the look of tornadoes south of Matheson, Colorado. The rapidity of change, including strengthening and weakening. This tornado is a spectacular example of a rapidly strengthening anticyclonic circulation. 4th June 2015

Follow Clyve At maximum intensity, the Matheson-Simla tornado developed an anticyclonic twin on the southeast quadrant. On the left a new funnel forms(anticyclonic) and on the right, partially rainwrapped is the primary cyclonic tornado.At this stage the storm was making a definite right move. Matheson, CO. 4th June 2015
