We’ve all seen stacked images of stars, lightning, and sunsets…but I wanted to try one with daytime storm structure, so I put this together from Waurika, Oklahoma on May 7, 2014. 215 stacked images f/16.0 1 second each ISO 50.

Friday September 5th would produce the most amazing underbelly to a shelf cloud I think I have ever seen. We small scale bow echo developed near Chicago by 4pm and raced east creating widespread damaging winds reaching Jackson MI by 7pm and this was the sight under that shelf cloud as it came in.
