* Green, oh so green * This is my take on the beautifully colored and shaped HP supercell rolling over the town of Stratford in the Texas Panhandle while the tornado sirens are howling. We chased this tornadic storm from the very beginning for hours until we had to stop and let it roll over us without getting hit by large hail nearby… And by the way if you have not already noticed - that green on this storm was truly incredible Stratford, Texas, USA May 16th, 2016

May 24 2016 near Dodge City, Kansas was one of my favorite ever chase days, mainly because of the wide variety of ‘looks’ from the various tornadoes. That and nobody was killed. Great day!

“Remembering Our Fallen Brethren” Today marks the 3 year anniversary of the largest tornado ever recorded on Earth… The 2.6 mile wide, >295mph EF5 tornado that tore through El Reno, Oklahoma killing 8 and injuring 151. Team Twistex risked their lives to work to increase tornado warning times to help save others. They gave the ultimate sacrifice. Today we remember…Rest In Peace Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras, and Carl Young. The world misses you terribly…

Thought I might as well jump on the June 4 2015 Simla reminiscing train. This is another perspective of the cell just after it put down it’s first tornado. This still remains the greatest day of stormchasing I’ve ever experienced!

Congrats Everyone!
