Phoenix, Arizona, had several incredible displays of lightning during the 2015 monsoon season and this was one of them. This photo was taken at the end of June this year and is a stack of 6 frames taken over the course of 90 seconds … that’s how much energy was in this storm! I stayed in this one location for three hours watching bolt after bolt hit. It was one of the best lightning shows I have ever witnessed!
