Follow Jane It was pretty hot out in western Kansas around Scott City, low 90’s F with dewpoints around 60F which is not bad for this part of Kansas. At Syracuse, we had a dilemma…a strong storm to the north, or a strong storm to the south? We decide on the southern storm and we scored a great landspout tornado. Although weak, it was photogenic and gave us an opportunity to study the evolution of these fickle winds of nature. July, 2013 Photo: Jane ONeill

Thanks for accepting! Picture included was taken last year, may 23th 2014 in Essene, Belgium. After having quite a bust chase, me ( Kevin Smetryns Photography & Stormchasing ) and my friend from Severe Weather in Belgium decided to return home when a rainbow took shape… ) So we searched for a fine viewing spot aaaand, not such a bust after all!
