A very powerful positive CG lightning bolt striking from the upper parts of the supercell’s updraft tower. The thunder was insane, shotgun alike sound blast! I am completely in love with the green prairies of NW South Dakota. Taken on June 21st, 2015.

This supercell from Bluitt, New Mexico on May 29, 2015 was the storm that kept on giving. After producing a picturesque tornado, it, in tandem with the approaching sunset, produced a wonderful display of color. The addition of sporadic lightning added even more color to the view.
