Follow Andy Brilliant display of colour on the farm roads SE of Frankfort, Kansas on June 8th last year. This particular thunderstorm did produce a funnel cloud momentarily half way to the ground earlier in the day near Seneca, KS. The most spectacular display however were the colours on sundown illuminating the back of the updraft late in the afternoon. The two small inflow bands on the RHS are pretty interesting too. Kansas skies never cease to amaze.#2 Brian Emfinger (294 Likes)

This was shot in the middle of the night on 4-26-2016. This was a V for victory shot. Positive lightning going skyward. This shot is straight off the camera and was a little underexposed. I was at ISO 200 and should have bumped it to ISO 400 sooner.
Congrats Everyone!
