Canon 70D, Canon 10-22mm, ISO 100, 30 sec., f/10, 10mm. Taken Sept. 14, 2013. Probably my favorite bolt taken last season, not necessarily my favorite overall photo. Definitely one that makes me try hard to remember that capturing a good bolt doesn’t make the photo good. Things could be done (cloning for instance) to make this better, but better planning could’ve saved and improved the overall composition

17 May 2013 “Tranquility” SW of Graham, TX the final stages of A beautiful Tornado that went on for about 20min. it came from a slow moving LP supercell that i didnt think would produce. But in the end i was rewarded to a beautiful show amd a gorgeous sunset to top it off. NOT EDITED. shot with Canon 7D 17-85mm canon lens shot at 1/160thsec @ f/7.1 ISO 200 and a 70mm focal length
