Another shot of the Baxter Springs tornado of last April. The twister was going right into town at that moment. That day was a game changer for me, before that, I’ve already witness what kind of damages a tornado can do, but not the chaos it causes just 5 minutes after it went into town. As we were there almost alone and my girlfriend is a nurse and my other chase partners have their first aid and disaster training, we went to check in town if people needed help. Lots of injuries but fortunately no deaths. I will remember that day forever.

Back in late April of this year, as a rotating wall cloud passed over me, I captured the red white and blue whipping in the breeze. It was a surreal moment, to say the least. Taken between Itasca and Carl’s Corner, Texas.

Shot this last summer in Flat Rock, North Carolina at 3,000′ in elevation, the storm was literally over my head and my camera was pointed straight up.

In the inflow notch of the Big Lake, TX supercell on 5/24/14. The little tail cloud was really feeding off the nasty core.

This is a 3 stitch pano from May last year as we were trying to catch up to a tornado warned storm just on sunset near Shive, Texas. I have never ever seen convection as explosive as this!

This huge storm formed east of the Guadalupe Mountains on Sunday evening and moved south from Carlsbad, NM to Pecos, TX. Love how the cloud tops towered over Guadalupe Peak and El Capitan and glistened at golden hour.
