Rare scene of two tornadoes and a lightning strike northwest of Pilger, NE near Pender NE. The tornado developing on the right is not the tornado that hit Pilger, NE. Sad day for the town and if you’d like to donate to storm relief check out Storm Assist’s website. I may as well.

“Supershelf 2” York, NE Low hanging shelf cloud with the updraft showing and mammatus lining the anvil. Fast moving and very impressive structure creating baseball size hail.

6/17/14 - Macomb, Illinois Intense lighting barrage out of nowhere. One of quite a few lightning shots I got last night. It’s a little over exposed on the right bolt, but I still love it. Single shot, no stack.

Witnessed some incredible storm structure complete with a tornado west of Homer, NE yesterday! The tornado was confirmed to be on the ground by other trained spotters in the area but from our location we couldn’t see the ground circulation. Sadly this is the same storm that before we got to it, put down twin tornadoes that destroyed the town of Pilger, NE. Please be praying for the families that were hit by the tornadoes.

I have nothing to compare with all your wonderful and powerful captures of recent storms, so I’ll just post a rainbow at the end of a storm
