While smoke from Fort McMurray Alberta smothered the clarity of the atmosphere in southern Saskatchewan I still attempted to capture images during the Strong (G3) geomagnetic storm. This is one image I captured directly overhead at 2:14am CST, Mother’s Day morning. It was a difficult shoot, I was out there over three hours trying to get something.

Here is a photo of the Wynnewood tornado, this was in progress for approximately 10 minutes when this photo was taken by my cell phone. Not the best photo, but i was more focused on video. This has not been enhanced or edited.

Raleigh, NC supercell thunderstorm on April 28th, 2016. This storm ended up producing 2.00″ diameter hail later on in its life along with damaging winds. This was taken on top of James B Hunt Library at NC State University. One of the best supercell structures I had seen on a storm in NC.
