Follow Josiah A father and daughter enjoying a stormy day on the beach in Ludington, MI. A few minutes before, the little girl had tried to photobomb the scene by posing in front of my tripod and smiling! People in Michigan seem to have a different attitude about storms. Instead of scurrying inside like rural Indiana folks, they flock to the beaches to watch and even go swimming and surfing in the rising waves, right underneath the leading edge of the storm.

Waterspout viewed from North ave and Laramie in Chicago. I was 7 miles from Lake Michigan when I just happened to walk around the front of my truck and see this looking east on North Avenue!
