An amazing storm from Caloundra Australia two nights ago. This cell just seemed to sit there for several hours. Single 25 second exposure with a bird

“Under the Weather” Sticking with the windmill theme from my prior post. June 4th 2013 near Eads CO. Heard a rustling in the cut straw in the field, soon realized it was large hail and had to dash! The lightning was getting a little close too!

Last Monday night Feb 1, just north of Redcliffe, Australia. Some of the most explosive convection and crazy lightning I’ve seen in years.

!! A made dash to Shorncliffe !! A shot from one of the 20,000 plus an hour lightning strikes last Monday evening offshore in Qld Australia. I was at Shorncliffe and besides the winds the light show was simply amazing.

Severe Storms - #Sydney, #Australia. Following an impromptu storm chase a couple of weeks ago on the 21st of January, 2016 - Sydney, Australia. While on a quick holiday with my wife interstate from Queensland.. I still couldn’t resist the opportunity of a quick chase from Newcastle, NSW to Sydney as severe cells developed around the Metro region. It’s the first time I’ve ever had the opportunity to shoot over Sydney Harbour with the famous Sydney Opera House and Harbour bridge within the scene. This was my first chase of 2016.
