Follow Brad This was our view as we emerged through the hail core and saw the almighty structure above our heads. Large hail was still falling at this point but the show had only just begun! Rapid City - June 1st 2015.#4 Christopher K. Eaton (281 Likes)
Follow Christopher A pair of powerful thunderstorms popped up over the Grand Valley late in the evening and proceeded to put on a show over Fruita and Grand Junction, Colorado, as seen from the Independence Monument Overlook in Colorado National Monument. Though the ground strikes had diminished somewhat by the time the storms moved over Grand Junction, the cloud-to-cloud strikes really lit up the heart of the storm moved over Grand Junction, the cloud-to-cloud strikes really lit up the heart of the storm.#5 Ajay Tewarie (231 Likes)

Follow Vanessa This is my photo of another shot I took of “Country Roads.” I walked up past the white fence to get a deeper view of Autum and the different shades of leaves. My Dad built this special road for a dear friend of his who built a beautiful mansion that sits at the top of the hill. This is in northeastern Kentucky on Rockgate Road in Flatwoods, Kentucky. You can get there to see this beautiful place from either Indian Run Road, Short Holler, or turn left off of Route 207. I call this one “Country Roads 2.”#8 Manolis Thravalos (201 Likes)
Follow Manolis The clear starry night and the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter provide the best background for this photogenic severe storm going off Samos Island in Greece on 10/21/2015. Notice the “bolt from the blue” striking many miles from the cell and the “cloud-to-air lightning” captured in the shot.#9 Adam Kraft (194 Likes)
Follow Adam Great halo display today in Spring Arbor MI with a 22 degree halo, full Supralateral arc( furthest arc), 2 sundogs(left and right of the sun), circumzenithal arc(highest arc) and upper tangent arc*top of the 22 degree halo)#10 Ryan Jake Jakubowski (182 Likes)
Follow Ryan This is probably one of my favorite sunset images ever. This was taken at Higgins Lake, MI I believe last year. The colors were so vibrant that this picture doesn’t even do it justice. You cant beat a calm lake and a sunset like this. Taken with Nikon D5200.

Snapped this photo of Mammatus as it blanketed the skies over over Pretoria, South Africa today (16 Nov). Resulted from a severe thunderstorm that had an amazing hail TBSS later and reflectivities > 70dBZ. Was an amazing day for severe weather here.
