Follow Cameron This was a sunset from July last year taken from the balcony at my work near Brisbane Airport, Australia. I was rostered to work the night shift and this was the scene that greeted me when I arrived.

Follow Storm This image is from a day that has shown up here on Mr. Twister again and again: The June 16, 2014 Stanton-Pilger-Wakefield, NE tornado sequence. But this image is unique amongst all the varying perspectives of this tornado outbreak, because I happened to find myself in a position on a hill at the junction of Highway 275 and Highway 57 to frame the tornado that would devastate the village of Pilger with a gorgeously restored Queen Anne Victorian farmhouse in the foreground. The contrast of the idyllic farmhouse and the looming violent tornado churning across the Nebraska countryside struck me as a frame worth making. The owners of this house later contacted me and said that they watched the entire tornado sequence unfold from their front porch, and that they’d ‘never been more terrified’ in their lives as they watched this monster, and soon after it the second violent EF4 that developed in tangent, track only a few miles southeast of their home and turn much of their community into splinters. ‘Too Close for Comfort’ 5 W Pilger, Neb., looking SE 06.16.2014

Follow Matt June 5, 2010. NE Colorado. One of the more unusual cloud formations I have seen- “mushroom” TCU line, with weak landspout type circulations underneath. Not sure what was going on but it was photogenic.

Sadly i’ve lost most of the EXIF details with this such as date & location Although I can give you a year of 2010 May/June & i think it was taken in Texas. I don’t know who these other chasers were but they made the foreground a little more interesting & the 3 lightning strikes within the 2 second exposure looked much closer than what they are in the photo.
