The day I chased Ice
On February 9, 2014, some cold arctic air and ice fog resulted in driving around for 2 hours, playing a game of Hot/Cold to find the densest areas of ice fog and marvelling at what ice crystals can do to the sky.

We drove into this nasty looking core on a line of storms in Western Kansas earlier this year. Despite the looks, there was only heavy rain and some gusty winds inside. You can see dust being kicked up by the outflow on the road ahead of us. August 2014 Goodland, Kansas

Angel feathers. I felt verry blessed to see this magic show in the air on 27th June 2014. It was like angels were flying in front of our house. I had to share this with others. The tiny building you see is the Skyline of The Hague in Holland. I had to put the buildings also on this picture to show you how colossal this phenomenon was. If you look closely you can see halo’s on the left and right. So enjoy.
