Nuclear….Supercell updraft photographed from Dodge City, KS looking SE around sunset May 4th 2007. This supercell later that evening spawned the first EF-5 tornado after the Enhanced Fujita Scale was incorporated. The tornado almost completely destroyed the small town of Greensburg. An evening and night i will never forget…

I caught these awesome cg’s in a single 30 second exposure tonight 120km SW of Mackay, Australia during a severe storm that developed on sunset. It had a bit of a meso for about 15 minutes and brilliant wall cloud.

Storm chasers have been busy in South East Queensland, Australia. This was taken on Sunday night 25/1/15 SE of Toowoomba. This cell exploded to an estimated 40,000 feet in height. Camera settings were- 55mm f5 ISO400. Captured during a 30sec exposure. The light show was visible for hundreds of kilometers. Enjoy
