Follow Adam Okay weather friends I need your help. I have never seen clouds like this that I photographed today. I know A LOT about clouds and cloud types but have never seen clouds like this before. They appeared to have an Asperatus Undulates look while at times taking on the Lenticular shape. It made for an awesome photo op none the less. Anyone here know what they officially are?#3 Wayne Simoncelli (207 Likes)

Follow Francis For my daily share I’ll share this sunset pic from a bust back in July 20th 2014 in Minnesota. Storms only initiated when it started to get dark and they never reached severe status although giving a good lightning show. I managed to grab this shot as two exploding storms were “sandwiching” the sun haha.#9 Kevin Radley (122 Likes)

Morning All, I know I had posted this one day last week but then had a problem with facebook and it was removed as the attachment became unavailable. So if this is ok with you Zach I would like to share this again. This was a close up of one the most amazing cloud formations I have ever seen. It was a rather large mass of cloud, and was simply amazing to watch it all. Taken Casino, NSW, Australia.

I thought I would share another of the Cathedral shots taken in 11/14. Just to clarify it was late afternoon the cloud was really dark over city. The cathedral was lit up as they had a service on at the time. Storm was going off with not much rain. Scary but perfect conditions. Used canon 5d with an ND filter to give me a longer exposure. In the 20 years I have been taking storm photos, I have always wanted these shots, as the cathedral alway reminded me of a scary castle. This was that day.

A very close proximity CG that struck less than 100m from my position, during severe storms in Brisbane Australia 16 Sept 14.
The strike was that big, that it shook all the windows and doors on the high-rise apartment building to my left.

A balmy -1 Port Washington, WI. This was taken around 7:30 this morning in the harbor.
Congrats Everyone!
