Follow Keith I have posted several shots of this FL Panhandle storm and even one very similar to this, but I like this one more than any that I took that night mainly due to the way the internal lightning has the clouds in the foreground crisply silhouetted .

Follow Andrew ‘Armageddon’Large severe thunderstorm (what Aussies call a supercell) passing over the hills west of Gosford, NSW, Australia. Added some contrast, clarity and shadow/highlight adjustments to bring out the detail. Made it look nice and evil;)

Follow Adam A light pillars display of epic proportions was seen last night across NW Ohio, Northern Indiana and southern Michigan. This is in my top 3 favorite displays of all time. At a bone chilling -7 tons of diamond dust plate shaped ice crystals glinted to the ground creating an incredible seen. This is my favorite pic because of the heavy diamond dust striations aloft as well as the stars back dropping the light pillars. Yes, colors are totally legit. I actually had to back down the saturation some. Pic taken in Spring Arbor MI.

Looking into the belly of a southeast Colorado beast, May 18, 2010 near Cheraw, CO. It was quite the copious hailer and I followed it through accumulated hail past Bent’s Fort… only to look at radar a short time later and see the tell-tale signs of a warm-front-type supercell near Eads… a tornado was reported right around then. D’oh! Meanwhile, about 160 miles to the south, a large supercell was menacing the areas around Dumas, TX.

Here is a picture I took approximately 2 weeks prior to the devastating April 2009 Murfreesboro, TN tornado outbreak that took in it’s path 50 houses.. I was in Nashville, TN near Nolensville, TN on my deck when I took this.
