Follow Mick Purple Bolt. 1 week ago, I was sitting in my car at Fullerton Cove/Fern Bay taking shots of a pretty crazy electrical storm. Here’s another shot from that chase, a beautiful purple bolt dropping out of the front of the cell. I love the definition in the top layers, it was pretty cool to see first hand.

Follow Adam My claim to fame in the winter is definitely light pillars and this one from last December is one of my best. This pic is a little different than one of the others taken at this angle because this has a good foreground. I always try to include that in my pics.

Follow Brad The lights from a small town illuminate the base of a spinning LP supercell with stars in the background. Taken in north east Colorado on 15th June 2013. Although the afternoon chase was a little disappointing, the evening was full of LP supercells, sunset colour and awesome lightning.
