Spectacular lightning from the anvil of an LP supercell at sunset in north east Colorado on 15th June 2013. Although the afternoon chase was a little disappointing, the evening was full of LP supercells, sunset colour and awesome lightning.

One of the nearest whales mouth I’ve encountered May 8th 2014. In the flint hills of Kansas. Sure was Beautiful.

Early spring storm moving over the back country of Guadalupe Mountains National Park, this evening, it was running out of steam as I shot this but was beautiful nonetheless!

Nice Shelfie I captured this morning in NW Australia in a band on the outer edge of the circulation that would become Tropical Cyclone Olwyn this Evening.

My camera was compact enough to squeeze it into a pretty small space for this pic… On March 30 last year, I found these ice formations hanging down from melting snowpiles… It’s a crazy angle, with the sun directly behind the ice. The red reflection was provided by my daughter, who was standing over me asking what in the world I was doing laying on the snowpile with my hands down in a hollowed-out part, lol. This was at Wilkie, Saskatchewan, Canada… Hopefully most of the snow will be melted by March 30 this year!
