Follow Jesse I know some of you seasoned storm chasers may think this is just another vortex….but for me starting the 1st month of my 2nd year in the Midwestern Plains, it took bigger cajones for me to stand there a few 100 yrds from what I thought for sure was a developing tornado coming straight towards me…..SOLO….with my networks guys/radar techs yelling in my earbuds to “GO SOUTH NOW”….and snap a few images and then jump back in the car and BLAST SOUTH, versus any of 100s of times standing there snapping pix with lightning hitting the ground all around me…..It spun like a top but NEVER grabbed the ground! ……This was a 1st for me ! …… Image captured south of Fritch, TX 4-11-15
