Follow David “Anticipation” A Northern Colorado storms builds up momentum as this protrusion rotates and lowers to the ground only to fade away as the storm rapidly collapses. It was so close and so exciting for a while, then “poof” the whole storm collapsed and completely disappeared in about 15 minutes!

East of the Palo Duro. July 10, 2015 I watched from my home as this cloud developed to the east. It was stunning and massive. I got in my car and drove to Palo Duro Canyon SP just in time to set up my camera and tripod to get a few shots. This is two exposures, one for the cloud and one for the foreground. Enjoy.
