Severy, Kansas Supercell May 10th, 2014 A very quick edit of a mothership supercell near the town of Severy, Kansas last night. In four years of chasing, I have never seen structure like this before! I still need to go retrieve my jaw from that field.

Different perspective of a tornado’s path. Took this while out flying a few days after the November 17, 2013 EF4 tornado that went through Washington, IL.

After intercepting a rapidly developing and nicely structured supercell near Vivaro, NE Italy we continued east ahead of it soon after first occlusion of the meso was finished. As soon as the new mesocyclone intensified, we got caught into the RFD so I decided to do a hook slice maneuver to get in front position again. Bam, directly in front of tornadogenesis and large cone tornado just west of Dignano, NE Italy. Was on the ground for 5min, very rare for NE Italy!! May 11th, 2014.

I’m a sucker for sunsets! These clouds reminded me of angel wings. This was shot with my Galaxy S4 while we were out putting flowers on my mother-in-law’s grave.
