Follow Darrick Real Close In Texas!! Look closely and there are a number of interesting features. On the left what looks to be the remnant of possibly a streamer? And to the right of the strike can someone give me some thoughts on the plasma like apparitions that appear. One comes right off the road almost like it was hit there just thousandths of a sec before I caught this. Definitely very cool. I caught this just a few weeks back not too far from Waco. So let me know what you guys think.A Ride You Won’t Soon Forget!

Follow Justin Going through my time lapse sets from last summer till finally trying to piece one together and found this decent strike with amazing color. Only about 25,000 photos to edit and organize, lol. Anyway found this from 3 storms I caught moving through one sunset time lapse over Tampa Bay, Florida 6-30-14.#7 Larry Mills (171 Likes)
Follow Larry It is a constant ghost In the storm that I hunt for, and focusing on a random postage size area in the night sky makes my chances of success slim; and it has only occurred a couple times in my years of shooting. So within this bolt there are at least 8-10 plasma channels during this strike. It could be due to the strength of the storm or the pure choice of the lightning, either way I love hunting lightning!#8 Glenn Patterson (158 Likes)

Follow Clyve We enjoy chasing storms on the high plains on a slight risk day….we usually end up with a photogenic standalone storm. Our favourite locations are NE Colorado and the high plains in general. We followed this storm (west of Sterling, north of Brush, CO) which went severe in the evening, produced a rotating wallcloud for about half an hour. It quickly generated this funnel which lasted about 5 minutes. This is high plains magic!! 1st May 2015

Very quick edit from yesterday, just north of Black Forest, CO. I believe a small funnel was spotted but no confirmed touchdowns. Had fun playing in little marble-sized hail before going to work! Also may or may not have sliced my arm on the barbed wire fence to get this shot… 5/1/15 - Black Forest, CO
Congrats Everyone!
