Follow Gene Beautiful severe storm in the fading sunset light near Chadron, Nebraska. Previously I posted the building tower on the left side, this is the complete structure. Shot with a 70-200mm lens not far from Hot Springs, SD. Colors are natural.

Follow Rob -7/27/15, 1:00 am, Barton County. This was by far the closest and strongest strike of the night. I had my ISO (sensitivity) set higher than normal to capture the more distant strikes. This led to the clouds throwing the bolt being way overexposed, but I still like it

Follow Joseph This afternoon what started out as a small rather weak thunderstorm at first exploded into one hell of an intense thunderstorm with amazing structure a well developed shelf cloud! This is the heart of the storm as it passed right over my head. I should have been taking cover like everyone else leaving the marina but I stayed out camera in hand with my new dog Boomer (named after thunderboomers like this one) and snapped several shots video and even a time lapse!
