This is my favorite lightning shot taken a while ago. It was taken at Organ Pipe National Monument in Arizona. This was shot with film and I had been shooting the lightning for about 5 hours and this was the very last shot. The moon was pre-exposed (for any old time photographers who might remember this technique) and reloaded back in the camera. I loved how the lightning perfectly framed the moon, just a super lucky coincidence!

Thunderstorm rolling over downtown Tampa, Florida Thursday night right at sunset. We don’t get many supercells and tornadoes here in Florida but we do get some awesome color at sunset This is an 11 vertical image panorama. Hope you enjoy.

Old Homestead in Elbert County, CO with a Severe Warned storm approaching it……..makes me wonder if these walls could talk, what have they seen over the years. I bet they have some really awesome stories.

Wide angle 7-shot stitch of an incredible long lived supercell. I was very close at this point and was struggling to stand up in the extreme inflow. The broadscale rotation was amazing and the beaver tail seemed to stretch all the way to Kansas! Photo taken somewhere west of Limon, June 7th 2012.
