The Alpine, SD EF4 and all its meso glory! This is a 12 vertical stitch panorama so not just the tornado but the meso as a whole can be seen in the photo. Crazy day this was!

The end of the first good chase of 2014. A church that has not been used in 30 years, under the Whales Mouth of this large storm. The good vs evil apocalyptic look of this one goes well with the name of the town.

Was cleaning up memory cards tonight from Chase season getting ready for aurora and came across this photO I took 600 pictures of this building and thought I got skunked in lightning category. Processed in three parts to enhance as best as I could. Hope you enjoy.

Hey everyone… realize I haven’t posted in quite awhile. Took a much needed break and some broken equipment has had me somewhat discouraged. Anyway, the sunset behind last Sunday’s storms in Western Iowa was absolutely incredible! A storm behind the line made for some interesting structure and texture with incredible sunset light and a massive rainbow formed. Without a wide angle I had to make panoramas of this scene. Please feel free to share and let me know what you think!

“The Barrage” Taken from 2-2:30 AM this morning . This is a 17 image composite over 30 minutes. Individual shots were 20 seconds each, f3.5, ISO 200, 10mm(crop). This storm is still going strong as I post this.
