Discrete Thunderstorm - SE/QLD Australia. One of my favorite captures this storm season with this image a royal dumping of golf ball sized hail adjacent the town of Killarney, Queensland on December 11th last year. This storm was lightning active at the time and severe warned for large hail and damaging winds. Unfortunately I missed all of the infrequent clear-air lightning but it still looked very cool with the rainbow in behind the storm. The sunshine from behind illuminated the hail shaft perfectly. (5-Vertical DSLR Photo Pano - Canon 600D).

Today’s Sunset at Peak Crossing in Queensland Australia was blocked by a slow moving and weak thunderstorm. It made for a really cool affect as the sun pushed through the rain core and lit it all up golden.

“Liquid Gold” Arizona has some of the most colorful sunsets I have ever seen. This time I was more than happy to shoot it through some tall grass as the reflection on this small pond was to die for.
