“Ribbons Of The Aurora” The Original Glow Stick The glow of these ribbons was amazing, made it seed like daylight had come early. No two shows are ever the same! Very Blessed to live and be able to photograph this amazing sight.

Sunset storm in Western Iowa late last summer. Gorgeous sunset in the western sky but turned around and got this to the East of me.

This one is from last May - after the storm that just couldn’t quite do it near Lamar, Colorado moved into Kansas, things got pretty linear, and formed one of the thickest, most vertical shelf structures I’ve seen… No tornado, but great photo ops that whole day for the guests. Can’t wait for the storm chasing tours to start this year - the anticipation builds every day

With all the fuss over the Photoshopped sun on the water, I’m motivated to share a shot. While I don’t feel like this lightning strike necessarily compares to the night shots I see here, what is unique is that I handheld my camera, during the day, anticipated and then shot. This was shot at f/13 1/8 second and ISO 200. This has been cropped some.

Photographed this huge cell coming into Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this afternoon, while walking along the Malecon. It was quite a bit north of us and we’re glad we didn’t have to go near it as you could see the system behind it. Wasn’t nice.
