Follow Charles Racing toward the Rochelle, IL EF-4 Wedge Tornado on 4/9/15. Ahead of us, an Extreme Tornado Tours team van shows their guests the tornado of a lifetime. Large hailstones lay all over the road as we blasted toward this tornado. This is a shot that I have never posted before on social media. It was tough to get clear shots of this tornado due to many factors, but we couldn’t stop, we would have fell too far behind. I was chasing with my buddy CJ on this day. A day we will never forget. Such an intense and exciting day. Best chase of the year for me, and so far, the largest, most powerful tornado I’ve ever documented.

Was going through some old photos and thought I would reshare this one. This was a few years back in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Nothing severe but it sure looked wicked. Taken with an old iPhone 3.
