Chase Map

What initially looked like a great dry line/triple point set up in South West Kansas, quickly eroded into a mess with storm motion moving North West near the cold core of a system moving out of Colorado. This chase was quite high on the bust scale with no real photos or anything of interest to report. I targeted SW Kansas and was in position as storms did fire and look positive initially. Marginal hail and some decent lightning was all that these storms could muster. Chase teams further South in Oklahoma and Texas also were disappointing with no storms or marginal storms at best. The cumulus field that did form was photogenic and I did get a few good shots as pictured below. These photos were not worth the trip though. Onward and upward!
