DONATE TO TORNADO VICTIMS
#1 Justin Battles (521 Likes)
Follow Justin One of the most difficult shots for me to date exposure and settings wise, a single frame catching the milky way over a thunderstorm and lightning without blowing out the lightning and still having enough exposure to see the milky way. Reflecting over Lake Manatee State Park near Bradenton, Florida. 8-11-14#2 Jason Weingart (393 Likes)
Follow Jason 3 years ago tonight, I shot this storm off the coast of Florida. Reworked the stack from that night, adding in a few more shots. Canon 40D - Ormond Beach, FL. 10.12.11 5 stacked images f/6.3 15 seconds each ISO 250.#3 Matthew Hunt (341 Likes)
Follow Matthew The most popular photo I’ve taken, back in June at my school. Despite the ominous look, this wasn’t a very big or powerful storm, but it had some great lightning!#4 Ryan Shepard (229 Likes)
Follow Ryan Mammatus 5-28-13 Northeastern, CO#5 Cory Mottice (199 Likes)
Follow Cory Fall in Northern Arizona.#6 Matt Gress (172 Likes)
Follow Matt Saw the awesome shot of the lightning and milky way posted earlier and figured I should post my attempt. This was taken in 2013 on the way home from the Wayne, Nebraska tornado.#7 Jolyane Limoges (167 Likes)
Follow Jolyane Scenes like this one is the reason I love chasing. It’s not always about tornadoes. Mother nature is simply amazing. Did not expect anything from these elevated storm in Texas early May 2014 but then this happened.#8 Brett Wright (144 Likes)
Follow Brett LP supercell at sunset last April in northern Texas. The colors were outrageous and how this looked in real life was very similar to this.#9 Max Olson (143 Likes)
Follow Max Touchdown! Cute little rope tornado near Akron, Colorado May 7, 2014.#10 Kevin Rolfs (135 Likes)
Follow Kevin Photo taken 11/3/12, Bartlesville, OK. It’s not exactly weather, but then again it kind of is. A late afternoon pic of our front yard maple displaying its beautiful colors as temps continually cool through the fall months.

My best shot from tonight, which I shot south of New Cordell, Oklahoma. This is one of about 17 images, which will be used in a stack I make, sometime this week. Anyway, hope you all enjoy.
