Spectacular lightning from the anvil of an LP supercell at sunset in north east Colorado on 15th June 2013. Although the afternoon chase was a little disappointing, the evening was full of LP supercells, sunset colour and awesome lightning.

Probably the most beautiful scene I’ve had the pleasure to witness and photograph. This was a “non-hype” chase day back on July 5, 2014 as the decision was made to travel from Pierre, SD up towards the Bismarck area. Shot with a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS USM at 24mm. 1/25 sec., f/4.0, ISO 250 at sunset near Steele, ND.

Finally! Perth got some storms yesterday! Had probably my best chase in the southern wa area! First storm of the year was a supercell which went on to dump heavy rain and hail onto the northern suburbs if Perth. This was another storm later in the day on my way home. I stopped at the best clearing I could find near my house and whack this epic structure come through!

I took this YEARS ago and forgot about it. Found it buried in a folder the other day. This happened outside my church in Warrenville, IL. Had to be 2010 - I used my OLD Canon PowerShot so the quality is poor. Still!

Fall in Michigan is almost always a beautiful sight and one of the best states for fall color. This giant Sugar Maples about 2 miles from where I live has to be the prettiest tree as a whole I have seen in a very long time. Pic taken In Spring Arbor MI.
