This is one of the greatest storm sunsets I’ve seen and was complete with plenty of close lightning not long after this photo - Colorado at its stormy best! June 11th 2006. note - I hope I haven’t posted this one before!

Took this last year in August in eastern Arizona- monsoon season rocks! Exposure time was 30 seconds, at ISO 100, f/8. Was treated to about an hour of these strikes.

My daily pic depicts the sister tornado of the Alpena, SD EF4 tornado. This was taken south of Alpena looking south but actually looking up. As a sense of reference, the Alpena EF4 tornado was to our right on this picture.
