The brightest rainbow I have ever witnessed, heading home to Saskatchewan from Medicine Hat Alberta, I gasped as it was perfectly placed over the road. Double rainbows seem to be happening more often in the last few years, or maybe we just noitice them more because everyone has a cell phone camera to capture their beauty.

South of Vernon, TX May 2014… the darks don’t do any justice… No words to describe the Winds from that day… Few funnels were reported, mostly tree damage…

Finally, this evening after a long wait I got the sunset I wanted to backdrop this unusually shaped Burr Oak down the street from my house in Spring Arbor MI. I LOVED the Silhouette of this Oak.

One of the nicest, most complete looking thunderstorms I’ve photographed right at sunset over Old Tampa Bay. Unfortunately I was shooting a time lapse at this point with a 5 second interval and exposure of 1/4sec @f18 and missed some strikes. By the time this storm really kicked off and I caught some lightning the sun had already set and the storm structure was not as well defined but I really like how complete this photo is. Hope you enjoy! 7-14-13

Sunrise over southeast Kentucky this morning. 11/3/14 . Driving west and looked in my rear view mirror and seen this view . Pulled over and snapped the shot . It only lasted for a few minutes.

The double rotating wall cloud on 9-29-2014 near Cope CO. There were actually 3 centres of rotation at this time though the 3rd was quite a bit less established. This storm produced at least 1 brief rope tornado.
