Follow Dale Majestic Nebraska Thunderset July 18, 2012 - Kearney Nebraska US It’s our dry season, and we sure needed the rain that year. Strong thunder cells would develop western edge of Nebraska, slowly moving into the evening hours moved in into south central Nebraska. Follow Cameron Some close offshore CG lightning last night in Weipa, Australia. This cell developed pretty much overhead and as soon as it got a sniff of the ocean water it started pumping out an incredible amount of lightning.

Broadus, MT on May 18, 2014. Started off as a supercell in billings then bowed out producing this incredibly structured shelf cloud. Thought we were going to get a bookend vortice, but that didn’t happen. However, we experienced baseball-sized hail, strong outflow winds, and some CGs.

After days of fog and clouds on the slopes of a local ski area here in VT the sun lit up the Rime Ice that resulted! It was a beautiful sight!
