Follow Shannon An Awesome Aurora Explosion over Southern Manitoba tonight! Was spectacular to watch and I was very happy to thaw the toes in the car after 3 hours in -21 degrees Celsius temps (-28 with the windchill)! Well worth being able to even watch this unfold! I took this in Perth a few weeks back. I did some experimenting during the shoot, it’s Amazing what difference one button does, bringing out all the blues….the difference being fluorescent white balance. Hopefully more storms make it to Perth tonight!

14/7/2011 #Lendava #Slovenia Panoramic view of 6th supercell we caught that day. It was enlightened with beautiful sunset behind the cell. The rotation was clearly visible and just beautifull inflow in to the mesocyclone and wall cloud:)
