Here I was Digging through my Images to do a Time Lapse of this Storm and stumbled across this Shot and couldn’t believed I missed this one all this Time. Guess shooting Thousands of shots a year, your bound to miss a few. Took this over looking Altus Air Force Base on August 8th 2011. ISO 100 f/22 for .4 Seconds

May 26, 2009 - “Wind-Sculpted Beauty” - Stillwater, OK. - Boone Pickens Stadium in the bottom right. Not all of the pretty ones need to be severe. This started near Perry, OK and drifted slowly east before dying right around sunset. The upper-level winds took over and sculpted the leftover anvil as the setting sun illuminated the scene.

Back a few years ago.. this was from September 20, 2008 in Yamanto QLD. One of the craziest mesos that I’ve ever seen in Australia! Here in the southern hemisphere our storms rotate clockwise, and if there’s a meso, it’s usually on the opposite side to USA storms.
