Follow David I am use to photographing the entire sky when taking photographs of sunrises but this morning I decided to just focus on the moon. At first it was pretty clear. I noticed how brilliant the colors were starting to show on the horizon so I patiently waited for a patch of cloud to move near the waning crescent moon(roughly 3%). I didn’t have to wait, it started to develop right in front of me, leading to this photo. Waves of clouds pushed by the moon but not thick enough to hide it.
