Follow Ryan Saskatchewan Canada. This is the first picture I took in 2016. I did a portrait orientated shot with the animal tracks lined up and posted that one 2 weeks ago. That picture received more comments than any other picture I have ever posted, on any platform. The most common question, was “what are those tracks?”. They are animal tracks, i’ve said probably coyote or deer. I didn’t actually look. These trees are on the quarter section bordered by 2 intersecting roads where we used to walk Shadow (my female Great Dane). She loved to run in the snow on sunny days. She had to be ‘put down’ in May of 2015 just before her 12 birthday. So when I look at that picture, to me those are her tracks.

Ive seen some sunrises in my time and in the last year I have taken alot of sunrise and sunset photos. Peraonally for me this has topped the lot so far that I have taken. Gobsmacked at how beautiful this is and feel truely blessed to have seen it.

I got this during a storm chase on 08 Jan 2016 as it was moving north of Basile, Louisiana. This was a severe warned cell with hail and lots of lightning. Not a bad way to start 2016 in my opinion
