With Halloween coming up this picture I took last night at midnight seems perfectly fitting. These looked almost like mammatus clouds that were strongly illuminated by city lights about 10 miles away. 71 degrees at the time I took this which is very warm for October in lower MI. Strong winds were making a steady tripod a challenge. Pic taken in Spring Arbor MI looking SW.

Monsoon rain shaft approaching the Colorado River on 7/8/14.
