Follow Sarah I shot this on a hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina 3 years ago. I could never get a definitive answer as to what this is…downdraft, formation of a tornado, collapsing cloud? We had gotten Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings throughout that day.

If you have ever been on OK 7, between Lawton and Duncan-Y, then this barn is familiar. I’m surprised it is still standing! Just an evening drive in mild weather while farther north, Moore and Tulsa were getting battered. Sorry for that! We got a little bit of small hail, lots of wind, lightning, some rain - all right now.
