Ariah Park NSW Australia on Sunday afternoon as a beautiful squall line rips through the area. Unfortunately the line lost its amazing earlier structure during this brief stop but the landscape was too nice to pass up this opportunity. Also had a very close encounter with a brown snake about 1 minute after taking this pic. In all the excitement of the lightning and shelf clouds I had neglected to notice i was about 50 cm from stepping on the thing! For those who don’t know the brown is one of out deadliest snakes and I think from memory the 3rd most poisoness in the world

Very photogenic severe warned storm came across our area this afternoon. I had waited all day in very hot sticky temps and was well rewarded as this beast rode the upper trough. This was my last shot before bailing and heading home. Near Coraki Northern NSW Australia.
