Follow Charles Blue-Green Supercell somewhere between Vernon, TX and Electra, TX on 5/8/15. This was one of the most beautiful, yet menacing storms I have ever witnessed. A very powerful, ground scraping supercell through most of it’s life. It was next to impossible to see anything under the meso, unless you were right underneath it. This storm did produce a tornado, but my buddy Michael and I weren’t able to get a visual. Our main goal for this storm was to stay out ahead of the core. We ended up getting some phenomenal shots of this beautiful shelf cloud with an intense blue-green rain/hail core behind it. It overtook us for a short time, but we were able to get back out in front of it. One of the most amazing sights of 2015 right here!!

Follow Tina I took this photo a couple of years ago on September 13, 2013. I originally drove to Monument Valley to capture the bi-annual Mitten shadow being cast on the far Mitten. What I ended up with was an incredible monsoon storm that flooded the area and gave a gorgeous sunset!

Follow Lucas Dense fog have been covering NE France’s plains for several days now. It’s cold and humid down there… further up : clear skies and higher temps! The first image (foreground) was pre-exposed a few minutes before the rest of the panorama, in better light.

Follow Brad Up close with the dynamic wall cloud of a supercell just north of Moonie, Qld on 28th Oct 2015. The wall cloud rotation was the most impressive i’ve seen in Oz and very low to the surface. If it hadn’t been for other cells interfering, a tornado was a real possibility

Saturday 31st October about 30km north of Echuca in New South Wales as a fresh set of updrafts train behind the more established storms of the day, this one briefly taking on supercell characteristics in spectacular fashion. Still buzzing that we were watching dynamics like this in our part of Australia!
