Follow Heather ‘A beautiful night sky that I captured on September 14th, 2015. I was just trying to take a picture of the milky way, but the 20 second exposure and ISO of 6400 picked up all of the contrails too that I couldn’t see myself. It was also a new moon, so the stars appeared brighter. All of these components made for a beautiful scene.

One of my favourites from 2014 - Taken on 26th October from South Port Beach, Adelaide, South Australia as a series of active elevated thunderstorms erupted in the early evening producing prolific and frequent branchy bolts such as this one. Interesting feature near the base of the stirke where it splits into three.
