Always look up when you’re chasing as you never know what you might see. Back when we had decent storms in Victoria in 2010

The sun was starting to set on this June day in 2011. We were knocking out a positioning drive for chasing the following two days when this bomb went up over N Oklahoma.

One of my favorite captures from this year so far. On Thursday, August 6, we raced around Alberta, chasing 3 different super cells. When this one popped up west of my home, we could see hints of it’s great structure from across the province, and raced home to catch it.

My favorite tornado shot from the 2013 chase season. As many of you know this was the tornado that sat still for nearly an hour near the small town of Bennington, Kansas (North of Salina). This was when the tornado reached it’s maximum width, I really like the supercell structure you can see here. It seemed like everyone was up close getting the action shot of the tornado this day while few stood back and were able to take in and witness the whole storm. May 28, 2013 Bennington, Kansas
