Got up close and personal with this tornado that cut through Millsap, TX on May 15, 2013 (taken with an old iPhone, not the greatest quality - pre-DSLR days for me

Afternoon Summer thunderstorms in Northern Australia only last an hour or so usually, but take advantage of 40C+ temperatures and can show severe characteristics for a short amount of time before decaying, just like this cell along the Great Dividing Range.

I edited a new choice from the Classic Supercell from 23rd Nov 2015 near Lismore NSW Australia. I have 900 odd shots from this storm. I have only edited about 30 of them… So I chose a new one to do today… The beavertail was only just attaching itself to the main updraft (at the left - opposite side to the US) but she was spinning madly by this time. The hail roar was so eerie

Revisiting some older stuff and found that I had taken images to make a pano and never completed it .. So here it is the pano that never came about till today .. The May 28th 2013 cell near Julesburg, CO was breath taking to say the least… Enjoy and have a good rest of the weekend

A quick stack from earlier this year. This parking lot is pretty cool as a view for storms. Taken in Northriding, South Africa.

Going in to work on a server this morning and was greeted with this nice sunrise. Would have made a nice time lapse.
