Follow Travis Afternoon Summer thunderstorms in Northern Australia only last an hour or so usually, but take advantage of 40C+ temperatures and can show severe characteristics for a short amount of time before decaying, just like this cell along the Great Dividing Range.#5 Rosie Kew (224 Likes)
Follow Rosie I edited a new choice from the Classic Supercell from 23rd Nov 2015 near Lismore NSW Australia. I have 900 odd shots from this storm. I have only edited about 30 of them… So I chose a new one to do today… The beavertail was only just attaching itself to the main updraft (at the left - opposite side to the US) but she was spinning madly by this time. The hail roar was so eerie#6 Steen Barnes (203 Likes)
Follow Steen Punchy southerly change roaring up the east coast of Wollongong Australia
